| Request Text | Dear Chartering Team, I am writing on behalf of Cornicopia to request a formal quotation for the maritime transport of live livestock from Mauritania to Algeria. We are currently evaluating logistics partners for a high-volume, professional-grade transport operation and require a carrier capable of meeting stringent welfare and safety standards. Shipment Specifications: Commodity: Live Sheep Total Volume: 20000 to 100000 Head Loading Port: Port of Nouakchott (Port de l’Amitié), Mauritania Discharge Port: Algiers / Oran / Bejaia, Algeria Target Window: one week Vessel & Compliance Requirements: Vessel Type: Purpose-built or fully converted IACS-classed Livestock Carrier. Infrastructure: Evidence of automated feeding/watering systems and high-capacity ventilation (as per OIE standards). Certifications: The vessel must be compliant with current 2026 Mediterranean and North African maritime regulations. Onboard Care: Quote should specify if specialized stockmen or veterinary attendants are provided by the carrier. Request for Information: Please provide a comprehensive quote (Lumpsum or Rate-per-head) including: Estimated transit time. Daily fodder and water consumption rates/allowances. Port agency fees and loading/discharge rates. Availability of Mortality Insurance options.
